The following rules apply to each vendor Any
failure to comply with listed rules may result in removal from premises
along with the loss of leased lot(s) at Livingston Trade Days management's discretion.
1. Livingston Trade Days reserves the right to refuse admission to any vendor.
2. All vendors must check in with the office before occupying their lots.
Lot fees are to be paid in full before vendors can occupy their spaces. NO
EXCEPTIONS!!!
3. Anyone selling, swapping, trading, or otherwise engaging in business on
the premises must have a lot receipt. Lot receipts are issued for the sole
purpose of admitting said vendor. Vendors may be asked to present a lot
receipt when renewing lots.
4. There will be no refunds or rollover of lot payments.
5. Subleasing of lots is absolutely prohibited; identification may be
requested. Anyone caught misusing receipts or subleasing lots may be evicted
from the grounds immediately.
6. Each vendor is required by Texas state law to have a Texas sales permit.

7. Livingston Trade Days shall designate selling areas and each vendor shall sell and display
only within the confines of his/her designated area. No hawking is permitted
at any time.
8. No construction of any kind may be built on lots without prior consent of
management. (Tables, racks, walls, etc.)
9. Neither Livingston Trade Days nor Pedigo Park has been designated by the
City of Livingston as a public forum. Neither vendors nor customers are
permitted to bring upon or to distribute on the premises any political,
religious or soliciting matter, including flyers or handbills, other than
for the advertisement of merchandise otherwise permitted to be sold.
Livingston Trade Days reserves the right, in the sole discretion of its
management, to restrict the sale, display, or distribution of any printed
materials, photographs, books, magazines, pictures, flyers, artwork, film,
recordings, or other representations.
10. Lots cannot be used for games of skill, raffles, chance, lotteries, palm
reading, fortune telling, use of dice or cards, auctions, or carnival
related purposes.
11. Vehicles parked illegally or on a lot not assigned to the owner of the
vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense.
12. A vendor pass must be shown when entering the grounds and kept visible
when parked on the grounds. One vendor pass is required for each vehicle.
13. Motorcycles, bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, and horses are not
permitted on the grounds during the sale. Golf carts and three or four
wheelers are prohibited except for authorized personnel.
14. A speed limit of 5 m.p.h. throughout the trade grounds will be strictly
enforced.
15. Anything left on the premises is done so entirely at the risk of the
vendor or owner.
16. Livingston Trade Days assumes no liability for any disputes among dealers and/or customers
or for any damage to persons or property.
17. Vendors are responsible for keeping their lots clean. Trash receptacles
will be provided throughout the premises.
18. Livingston Trade Days management is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen
personal property or damage to vehicles while on premises.
19. Payments made by check should include the following information: name,
physical address, telephone number, date of birth, and driver's license
number. No temporary checks will be accepted. Livingston Trade Days reserves the right to
refuse payment by check from any vendor. There will be a $25.00 charge on
all returned checks.
20. The public consumption, selling, dispensing, or donating of alcoholic
beverages of any kind is not permitted on the grounds.
21. Loud music, amplifiers, or any other loud noises that management deems
inappropriate will not be allowed.
22. Any advertisements must be displayed within the confines of the vendor's
lot. No advertisement may be placed on buildings, trees, posts, or any
personal property of Livingston Trade Days.
23. A dump station is provided on site. In accordance with state laws,
wastewater of any type may not be discharged into, or flow into, a public
place, gutter, street, creek, etc.
24. Small animals such as puppies, kittens and non-fowl birds, etc., will be
allowed to be sold. All animals and birds must be approved in advance by the
management. No venomous and/or toxic reptiles, insects, spiders, or snakes
of any kind shall be sold or allowed on Trade Days grounds. Fowl, such as
ducks, turkeys or chickens are not permitted to be sold at Trade Days.
25. All pets must be kept on a leash or carried by the owner at all times.
26. The Livingston Trade Days office will not cash checks or
accept two-party checks.
27. Parents or guardians are responsible for minor children
brought onto the premises.
28. Food items and drinks must be sold from a concession lot
that meets the State of Texas Health Department standards. The sale of any
food item requires management’s advance consent.
29. Electrical service to lots
is a 120-volt, 3-wire plug. The vendor is responsible for supplying a 3-wire
adaptor.
30. Vendors must use 12/3 (heavy duty) extension cords to
hook up to electricity. Anyone causing damage to the electrical or plumbing
system will be charged a minimum of $25.00 for damages.
31. Renewal of lots (open and pavilion) for the following
month may be made during the show at the office or from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
on Sunday during Trade Days weekend at the Trade Days tent near the
restrooms. Lots left unrenewed become available at closing time on Sunday.
32. Early arrivals and late stay-overs will be charged $5.00
per day. Check-out time is 12:00 noon on Monday. For a $5.00 fee, you may
stay until 8:00 am on Tuesday. All vehicles and merchandise must be off the
property by 8:00 am Tuesday. Vehicles or trailers remaining on the grounds
after 8:00 am Tuesday will be charged $10.00 per day. Unattended trailers or
vehicles will be impounded.
33. Vendors selling large or heavy merchandise may furnish
passes to their customers to drive to their booth to pick up the
merchandise. Vendors are responsible for retrieving these passes from their
customers.
34. Livingston Trade Days reserves the right to cancel the
show for any month due to severe flooding. Credits will be issued to vendors
for use during another month.
35. Livingston Trade Days assumes no liability for the sale
of counterfeit merchandise.
36. These rules and regulations are subject to change at any
time without notice.
Pavilion Rules & Regulations
(In addition to the above rules, the following apply to pavilion vendors.)
1. Spaces are 10 feet wide and 20 feet deep.
2. Set ups may not extend into the aisle.
3. Vendors must be completely set up by 9:00 A.M. Saturday. SET UP IS
REQUIRED ON BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Failure to set up on a pavilion space
may result in permanent loss of your lot and forfeiture of your lot rent.
4. The cost on a pavilion lot is $95.00 per event. Vendors will be allowed
to park next to their lot.
5. Water and electricity are included in the price of all pavilion lots.
6. Pavilion spaces may be kept from month to month by renewing and paying
for the spaces before the show closes on Sunday. However, management
reserves the right to deny renewal to any vendor in order to maintain a
desired merchandise balance in the pavilions.
7. In special cases, a pavilion vendor may be allowed to pay half the amount
of his rent for a single show in order to retain his lot(s) for that month.
Approval from Livingston Trade Days management is required.
8. Livingston Trade Days management reserves the right to limit pavilion lot spaces to vendors
with quality merchandise including crafters and antique dealers. No garage
sale type items will be allowed to be sold from the pavilion.
9. A maximum of four pavilion lots may be rented by any one vendor for any
given month.
