Chapter 176 Texas Local Government Code requires the public disclosure of certain information concerning persons doing business or seeking to do business with the City of Livingston, including family, business, and financial relationships such persons may have with City of Livingston officers and employees involved in the planning, recommending, selecting, and contracting of a vendor.

The CIQ form must be filed with the City Secretary within seven (7) business days from the date the person or business begins contract discussions or negotiations with the City of Livingston, submits a response to a request for proposals or bids, or when the person or business becomes aware of an employment, business, or family relationship with the local government officer or local government officer's family member.

The Local Government Officer Conflicts Disclosure Statement for CIS is the notice to the appropriate local governmental entity that the following local government officer has become aware of facts that require the officer to file this statement in accordance with Chapter 176, Local Government Code.
