Responsibilities
The Livingston Municipal Court is responsible for Class C misdemeanors, Animal Control Violations, Code Enforcement Violations and and other state and city ordinance violations punishable by fines only.
The court conducts hearings and trials, collect fines, issues warrants of arrest, and arraigns prisoners in all types of felony and misdemeanor violations. Municipal Court does not handle divorce cases, child support, or other civil matters.
